“My aim is to provide every client with beautiful images which can be treasured forever.
I strongly believe that beautiful images are one of the best ways to document the special times in our lives. Those images will remain to tell our stories when we are no longer here to tell them ourselves.”
Hi, I’m Louise. I’m a Mum to 3 great children. We moved to Helensburgh as a family in 2007 and more recently to the nearby village of Cardross.
I’ve been photographing newborns, older babies, children and families professionally since 2013. As a mum myself I know how important it is to treasure those important times, and what better way than with professional, archival quality images.
Growing up I always knew I wanted to work with children and babies. When I left school off I went to college to gain my NNEB diploma in Nursery Nursing. Once qualified I worked for a number of years in Early Years Centres in Leeds, meaning I have a vast experience of working with children and families taking account of individual needs and personalities. For several years I specialised in working with children with additional needs so you can be assured that I will take every care possible to ensure that every child and family has a positive experience.
So how did I end up here?
It’s very cliche, but I have always enjoyed photography and as a teenager I was always the one with the camera…I have albums upon albums filled with wonderful memories of fun times with family and friends.
Since deciding to take my photography forward into a career I have undertaken several training courses with the top professionals in the industry. As qualified child care practitioner and a PRO LEVEL member of the Baby and Newborn Photographers Association I have a strong commitment to promoting the safe handling of newborn babies during photography sessions and have had specialist training in safe newborn posing. I am fully insured, hold a current Paediatric First Aid qualification and Disclosure Scotland certificate.
