The Life in Focus Portraits Back to School sessions for 2020 are now available to book.

As a mum of 3 children I know how important those school photos are, capturing how quickly our children grow up....the annual portrait that we all look back on as adults, sometimes with a giggle and a "What was I thinking!!!"

Having been closed for several months due to Covid-19, the Life in Focus Portraits studio has been full to capacity over recent weeks capturing all of your beautiful "Lockdown Babies" and of course the Primary 7 "Lockdown Leavers" from all of the Helensburgh and Rhu primary schools....my feet haven't touched the ground!

For the past couple of weeks my inbox has been pinging daily with "When are you doing your back to school sessions?"  With the same families returning year on year, I can confidently say that my back to school photos are the very best available in Helensburgh & Rhu.  I have to say I really enjoy catching up with you all and seeing your little ones grow up.

I've just about managed to squeeze a couple of dates into the diary, so these Back to School sessions are very limited this year.

As the P7 "In the Box" sessions went down so well, I've decided to offer these as the indoor option this year, so you can choose whether to have some beautiful outdoor portraits, or something a little different with our exclusive BOX sessions.

Our outdoor sessions are now available to book and the BOX sessions will be available from tomorrow so watch this space.

"We attended school leavers photo opportunity offered by Louise at life in focus photography. My son has ASD and louise was very patient with him making sure he was comfortable with everything and showing him all equipment and what would be used. Louise made the whole session fun and engaged my son throughout. We have used louise for photo sessions before and she always goes above and beyond. She’s actually only photographer that has engaged with my son so that he’s comfortable having his picture taken. We never feel rushed or hurried. We find louise to be very welcoming and accommodating. And I also love that she offered this lovely gift to all P7 pupils in area as a memento of their short time in primary seven. Fantastic local business with a lovely lady at the helm"

"Lily was anxious beforehand but Louise instantly put her at ease and made it a fun experience! I know she’ll be delighted to have these photos to look back on, especially this year when the p7s missed out on the usual graduation activities and experiences."

Hazel - Helensburgh

"Bradley is pretty shy but louise is a natural at getting the kids to open up and put them at ease. Fantastic idea for a keepsake for the kids considering this years circumstances. Highly recommended."

Sarah - Helensburgh

"Best photographer ever! The pictures really are fantastic. My children have a number of additional needs inc autism and mobility issues, not to mention my youngest having a fear of the camera. They all attend different schools and so have different uniforms. The photographer, Louise, was able to accommodate each child's needs individually, and worked with each child better than some medical Professionals have. Each child had a uniform shot, civilian wear shot, and group shot with one or both of their siblings. I experienced no issues with any of my children's needs, and felt the studio was ideally set up to accommodate them. Once my pictures were ready to be chosen I was struck by the fantastic use of background colour choice, the fine editing, and the way Louise had captured each child's personality. Cost of prints were slightly less than expected for the quality of work received, and arrived within the recommended time frame. I thoroughly recommend this studio and its photographer for any photographic needs, and feel it should be highlighted that the photographer is 'autism friendly' and will go above and beyond to accommodate a families requirements. Would I use again? Yes! And I have, and will continue to do so as good quality pictures of my children are worth their weight in gold."
