I’m sure you’ve heard the saying “never work with children and animals”, well here’s the photographer who’s mad enough to do both….sometimes even at the same time!

I’ve been photographing dogs for several years both in studio and on location and have developed rather a love of it.  We’ve just about always had at least one dog in our lives, and over the past 17 years we’ve also been “servants” to 3 cats.  When we lost one of our beloved cats Maisy 2 years ago it really brought home the importance of having a beautiful portrait of our furry family members …sadly we never quite got around to it with Maisy and I still beat myself up about it on a regular basis!

Being lucky enough to have my studio amidst such wonderful grounds right beside the Gare Loch, in Rhu we can of course always venture outside, but sometimes there’s no beating a classic studio portrait.  After all our pets, whether they be dogs, cats, rabbits…or any number of other creatures, are part of the family too.  They are so special to us with their unconditional love and their everlasting desire to be by our side…or should that be on our knee?

My pet portraits sessions can be held in studio or outdoors, either in and around the studio grounds in Rhu, or at your chosen location; perhaps you have a favourite walk or would like to have your session at home.

Pet portrait sessions are just £95 to book, which includes a complimentary mounted print with your order.  Pet Portrait Gift Certificates are also available.
