Personal Branding…what’s that?  Well I guess you’ve heard of headshots…well it’s taking things a little further really.

For small businesses especially, you ARE your business, YOU are what makes your business unique, YOU are the part that no-one else can replicate!

It can be more than a little daunting, especially if, like me, you’re not a big fan of being in front of the camera.

So I’m sorry to say that the shadowy, grainy phone selfie just doesn’t cut the mustard when it comes to portraying you and your brand.

So what’s the difference between a headshot and a personal branding session?

Well a headshot is just what it says on the tin really, and it’s definitely something I do…and I do it well!

People buy from people, and like it or not those first impressions count.

So I'm sorry to say that the shadowy, grainy phone selfie just doesn't cut the mustard when it comes to portraying you and your brand.

A personal branding session takes things a little further, it shows a little more of you and what you do, whether that's a dancer, restaurateur or a fitness coach.  Sessions can be done in our fully equipped studio or on location, including your business premises.

I was delighted when Jo Cowper, who as well as being a generally nice lady is a bit of a marketing and branding whizz, approached me to capture the images for her website:  jocowper.co.uk

Being freelance, Jo meets with her clients in variety of places...sometimes their own premises or sometimes in a coffee shop.  We split Jo's session between the classy, relaxed interior of Padrone Pizza in Helensburgh and the grounds of my studio....Jo has 2 vices, good coffee and the great outdoors so it made perfect sense to incorporate both into her session.

As well as capturing Jo herself, I also provided several environmental images for Jo to use as headers and backgrounds on her website, because no-one wants their website to have the same stock images as everyone else!

Whether you're starting out, building a new website or just looking to get some great photography for you and your business, I'd love to talk to you about how I can help.  So do get in touch
