A day of Pet Portraits in the studio at Life in Focus Portraits

This past few weeks has seen us welcome 2 new fur babies to our home..

…meet Keo

….and Luna.

In my previous studio it wasn’t really possible to welcome pets, ever aware that my studio is primarily geared towards newborn babies and young children, hygiene and protection from allergens must be my priority.  In my current premises I am fortunate to have 2 studios, one dedicated to newborns and young babies and a larger lovely bright and airy studio ideal for just about everything else!

Being lucky enough to have my studio amidst such wonderful grounds right beside he Gare Loch, we can of course always venture outside, but sometimes there’s no beating a classic studio portrait.  After all our pets, whether they be dogs, cats, rabbits…or any number of other creatures, are part of the family too. They are so special to us with their unconditional love and their everlasting desire to be by our side…or should that be on our knee?

Here’s our beautiful Poppy, who’s 8 years old now….it seems like only yesterday we brought her home as a wee puppy!

With all of this in mind I’ve decided to hold our very first Pet Portrait mini session day where the baby things will be packed away and we have a fun day in the studio with our furry friends.  I’m not promising miracles, I mean there’s that good old warning to “never work with children and animals”, but I figure I manage ok with the former, so it may be time to welcome the latter into the Life in Focus studio.

We’ve got some lovely new vibrant backdrops or if clean and simple is more your style we can always work on white.

Here’s gorgeous Pepper a few weeks ago, just chilling!

These sessions will be just £20 and include a mounted 8″x 6″ print of your favourite image.  Additional prints and products may be purchased.

The profits from these mini sessions will be donated to Paralimni Dog Pound, where we found our 2 new fur babies.

We’d like to help the other doggies there with things like food and vet bills until they find their forever homes.
